The University of West London (UWL) wishes to appoint a professional firm to provide external audit and assurance services for the academic year 2022 onwards.
The current external audit service contract expires on 31 July 2023, although the incumbent service provider will complete their audit work for academic period 2021/22 and present their reports to the University's Audit & Risk Committee and to the Board of Governors during September 2023.
It is envisioned that the contract will be for 3 years with extensions available in 2 x12 month increments subject to satisfactory performance.
Within UWL's Strategic Plan, the institution plans to continue to develop the range and flexibility of its academic provision by extending current workplace-based, blended and distance-learning modes of delivery and through a growth in interdisciplinary activity.
