The brief

The Authority has placed a 2 year contract with 2 x 1 year options to continue to provide the services of a Defra Technical Adviser (DTA) for the Thames Tideway Tunnel (TTT) project.

The DTA will provide Defra and Government with expertise from an engineering, major construction and commissioning perspective in order to protect the Government's interests in the TTT project.

The supplier will be the Technical Advisor for the Thames Tideway Tunnel.

They will be: - Providing quarterly reports - Providing verbal and written briefings to the Government Representative ahead of each Liaison Committee meeting as required, to ensure he/she is fully aware of and understands all technical issues. - Attending the Liaison Committee as a Defra adviser if required in support of the Government Representative. - Attending the Defra/Tideway monthly meeting and any other meetings as invited by Defra. - Ad-hoc technical analysis and support in response to events
