They are building a new area to their e-commerce platform that will make it even easier for consumers and other businesses to access sustainable products.
They are looking for a back-end developer who is proficient in PHP (Laravel platform), API and python.
Ideally, someone who has experience in digital product design and passionate about sustainability.
The developer will be working with different teams within the company to assess the existing algorithms, work out processes to turn unstructured data to structured data to feed into the platform, provide scalability solutions and prepping the platform towards machine learning.
It is expected that the work will be up to 20 days on a flexible working and drawdown basis.
Responses are sought from individuals from Knowledge Bases, defined under the ERDF Definition of a Research Entity: Higher Education, Further Education and Research Entities which are: UK Public Sector Research Establishments, Research and Development Organisations, Research and Technology Organisations.
Assessment criteria are as follows: • Applicant from a research entity (pass/fail) • The fit of the expertise to solve the company's need, as assessed by Imperial Consultants and the SME. • The proposed solution and the outputs to be provided. • Availability. • Value for money.
