The brief

Under the Children and Families Act 2014 Local Authorities must make disagreement resolution services available to parents and young people.

The Local Authority must commission the service, but the service must be independent of the local authority.

As part of this service specification, the service provider must comply with the requirements of the Children and Families Act 2014 and take account of the current Special Educational Needs Code of Practice.

SUPPLIER INFORMATION DAY Suppliers are invited to attend a Supplier Information Day on Monday 8th July commencing at 13.30 hours (please see below for full details): 8th July 2019 13.30 - 16.00 Cheriton Room, Capital House, 48-52 Andover Road, Winchester, Hampshire SO23 7BH To participate and book your place, please register at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/hampshire/ and express an interest in the SEN Mediation tender https://in-tendhost.co.uk/hampshire/aspx/ProjectManage/14308 (see also instructions below).

If your organisation is not registered on the Hampshire In-tend portal, please go to the website stated above and click on the `Register` tab - registration is free.
