Birmingham City Council (The Council) introduced a Clean Air Zone in June 2021.
Through our air quality monitoring network, we have identified several areas that exceed the air quality objective.
To help understand the cause of the exceedances we wish to commission detailed road traffic studies using Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and Automatic traffic counts (ATC).
This contract will be for a period of 4 months commencing 1st February 2023 until 31st May 2023.
The Council will be using its free to use e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and potential suppliers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
