The brief

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (The Trust) has awarded a contract for the provision of technical advisory Services to support the delivery of the public sector decarbonisation scheme (PSDS) phase 3 at the Queen's Medical Centre (The Services) following termination of a previous contract.

The objective is to facilitate the completion of the PSDS-phase 3 project by providing relevant project management services on behalf of the Trust.

The scope is the continuation of the provision of technical advisory and project management services in support of the PSDS Phase 3 works project following termination of the previous contract with Arup due to quality and cost related issues.

The Services include, but are not limited to, the following: 1) Representing the Trust in negotiations with the contractor regarding technical project delivery matters, programme issues, commercial and contractual implications.

2) Attendance at and produce records of the various contract meetings including the progress meetings and Programme Board.

3) Reports to Trust team and Programme Board.

4) Preparation and submission of contractual documentation as required.

The contract has been procured via direct award under Lot 2 (Project Management Services) of the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust C227713 Capital Projects Consultancy Framework (The Framework).
