Due to an extension of the project dates, the College is seeking to appoint a marketing and communications provider from April 2022 until June 2023.
Key objectives are to develop and produce a fully integrated marketing plan and undertake marketing activities to engage York, North Yorkshire and East Riding (YNYER) businesses onto The Business Scale Up Programme, and to support in raising awareness and promoting the benefits of leadership, management and consultancy to SMEs across the region.
The College is inviting applications from established marketing and communications providers that can demonstrate a track record of developing marketing and communication plans aimed at engaging employers, and that can offer a marketing plan and activities that are innovative.
The provider must have, or be able to swiftly gain, local knowledge of the business and skills landscape in the YNYER region and stakeholder relationships to maximise the College's reach, and understand how to communicate with a wide range of businesses and employers.
The successfully appointed provider will be required to undertake marketing activities throughout until 30 June 2023, which should include: o Working with the BSUP team and Calderdale College Marketing Team to produce a full marketing & PR plan for the project timeline which builds on the brand development and collateral developed in year 1 of the programme. o Develop and manage all social media platforms, ensuring content produced drives engagement and referrals to BSUP. o Produce, manage and maintain all digital marketing for BSUP, including (but not limited to) social media advertising and Google paid search o Research of new marketing opportunities and their effectiveness to support the BSUP project, including (but not limited to) telemarketing, print and outdoor advertising o Identify and propose successful and innovative marketing activities that will raise the profile of the Programme, increase SME engagement and will flex to meet economic/sectoral circumstances. o Implementation of new marketing activities as appropriate, within budget and with consideration of best value. o Creation, authoring and promotion of case studies o Creation and distribution of press releases to relevant media and stakeholders This list is not exhaustive, and suggestions for additional marketing activity are expected.
All promotion, publicity and collateral produced must adhere to the Calderdale College branding and publicity guidelines, copies of which will be provided to the successfully appointed provider, as well as the ESF branding and publicity guidelines, which can be found on the ESF website.
The Business Scale Up Programme is part funded by the European Social Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
