Provision of Passenger Transport Services - Dynamic Purchasing System
WBC procure passenger transport to and from various establishments (e.g. schools, colleges, respite care, daycare, short stay establishments) within and outside the Wokingham Borough for mainstream, SEN pupils andadults.
Transport services will require different vehicle types plus drivers and possibly passenger assistants.
Itis the Councils intention to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the future provision of transportservices.
The DPS is anticipated to be open in September 2019 and will run for 10 years, during which time newapplicants can apply to join. This is a new approach to how we currently procure, therefore the Council will hold Supplier Information Daysat the Council Offices, dates below, to explain what is a DPS, how it works, registration process, how to apply, expected timetable etc.
19 July 2019 10.00 - 13.00 7 August 2019 10.00 - 13.00 Email CTUgroup@wokingham.gov.uk to register your interest to attend, stating your preferred date.
