Market Engagement for a Fully Managed Leisure Concession Solution within Saltwell Park

Gateshead Council is in the process of looking to renew the solution for the operation of various Leisure Concessions within Saltwell Park.

Current arrangements within the park include a land train and inflatables.

It is anticipated that the new Contract may include activities such as: • Boats for the boating lake (which had been operational until 2 years ago) • A land train • Inflatables • Mini golf As part of this process the Council is conducting a Market Engagement Exercise to establish a level of interest in this opportunity and to gather information to improve our understanding of the market.

As part of the market engagement process, the Council will issue a questionnaire and will invite suppliers to attend a 1-2-1 to discuss their response further.

If a 1-2-1 is booked, a corresponding questionnaire must be returned by the deadline (12pm on 29th February 2024), to guarantee the booked slot.

Slots will be provided on a first come basis.

Please note that this requirement will not allow for the provision of any food, which is already covered by existing contractual arrangements.
