The Informatics Strategy (2014-2019) for The Christie NHS Foundation Trust has identified the deployment of a Pathology Electronic Order Communications solution (OCS) as one of its key objectives.
Therefore, The Trust is calling for expressions of interest to this Prior Information Notice from suitably qualified organisations to develop a Pathology OCS.
The ideal vendor will: Offer extensive and proven experience of implementing OCS or developing solutions; Support applications at all points along a software development or implementation life cycle; Have a customer focused attitude in order to provide support and resolution of issues.
Show an ability to deliver improvements and implement change in a regular, controlled and agile process.
The vendor is expected to bring several areas of expertise and resource to the contract, including: Helpdesk support with full Service Level Agreement within agreed service credits; Proven experience in system development and integration; Agile development of new functionality within agreed timescales; Dedicated testing resources and rigorous quality assurance processes; Business development expertise.
The OCS will ideally interface with the following systems: Patient Administration System (Medway) Laboratory Information Management System (TD-Synergy) Clinical Web Portal (CWP) Interested organisations are invited to express their interest in this potential opportunity by contacting Yasmine Warsame, Project Manager, via email at: yasmine.warsame@christie.nhs.uk before 15th January 2016.
Individual informal discussions will be held with interested parties who express an interest during early 2016.
It should be noted that this engagement exercise in no way guarantees that a procurement exercise will be run at a later date.
