Using the NWUPC Framework for Facilities services reference EFM3141NW Using Lot 6 Fixed Wire Testing, the University of Worcester is seeking to appoint an approved supplier to undertake the comprehensive electrical survey, inspection and testing of University of Worcester fixed wire electrical system for compliance with the requirements of (but not limited to): • The Electricity at Work Regulations • The recommendations of the BS 7671 IEE Wiring Regulations (18th Edition with Amendments), • The requirements of the member institution as described below. • Lightning conductors and earth installations should be visually inspected and tested to BS 6651:1999/BS EN 62305 The testing will ensure that the Universities fixed wired electrical system remains compliant, safe to use and helps to extend the functional life of such systems.
