CHIC is a consortium of Registered Providers registered under the Housing & Regeneration Act 2008.

It is a registered company incorporated on 25th May 2010 under company number 07266506.

It currently has around 40 members, although it should be noted that some of the members are groups of housing providers.

Details of all members are set out in Annex 1 and can be found at: http://www.chicltd.co.uk/ CHIC is acting as a Central Purchasing Body (as defined in the Public Contracts Regulations 2015) for the purpose of undertaking this procurement exercise and concluding framework agreements with each successful applicant.

CHIC is also a member of Re: Allies Works Ltd ("Re:Allies") (company number 08902601) whose registered office is at Duckworth House, Lancastrian Office Centre, Talbot Road, Old Trafford, Manchester M32 0FP and it is intended that the framework agreements resulting from this procurement will be accessible to all current and future members of Re:Allies (who are currently CHIC, Efficiency North and Procure Plus Holdings Ltd).

The Members wish to enter into a framework agreement with a number of legal advisers in relation to Lots 1E, Lot 1W, Lot 2E, Lot 2W, and Lot 3E and Lot 3W (where "E" indicates a regional Lot for the whole of England, and "W" indicates a regional Lot for the whole of Wales).

The Members intend to appoint suppliers to each Lot capable of providing high quality commercial and practical advice and assisting Members to reduce their legal spend.

It is an objective of this tender that the Members will achieve better value, enhanced service delivery and more efficient management of matters outsourced to external solicitors.

Between them the Members of CHIC own and/or manage approximately 500,000 properties, located throughout England and Wales.

The total housing stock owned or managed by members of Re:Allies is in the region of 1.35 million units.

To participate in this competitive tendering exercise, the PQQ must be completed electronically through the Delta Website for each of the Lots that you wish to apply for.
