Brief description: We are looking for a suitably qualified and competent Environmental Health Practitioner registered with the Environmental Health Registration Board to work as a Citizen & Consumer Protection Officer -Environmental Health.

The job will entail dealing with routine enquires on the COVID-19 line; giving advice to businesses, schools, members of the public on the current Government guidance and reviewing business risk assessments.

A detailed understanding of relevant health & safety and COVID 19 legislation and current Government COVID-19 guidance is essential.

This post requires the post holder to undertake occasional out of hours duties and the ability to travel around the Borough.

A driving licence is required due to the nature of the role, therefore a driving licence check, including proof of business insurance and MOT, will be required.
