The Council wishes to appoint a service provider for a period of five years with an optional five year extension, to carry out Civil Parking Enforcement (CPE) duties across East Sussex.
Enforcement is currently spilt into three Civil Enforcement Areas (CEAs): (1) Lewes town centre and District; (2) Eastbourne; and (3) Hastings.
East Sussex County Council will enter into this contract for itself and for the benefit of Lewes District Council which is a Contracting Authority within the meaning of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (\"Partner Organisation\").
During the life of the contract the Council shall be entitled to purchase additional services for itself and / or for the benefit of any borough or district council within the county of East Sussex and, where it does so, references in this Contract to \"Partner Organisation\" shall thereafter include the relevant Borough or District council.
East Sussex has five Boroughs and Districts and they are Eastbourne Borough Council, Hastings Borough Council, Lewes District Council, Rother District Council and Wealden District Council.
