Over the last 7 years, the current provider has developed the Kirklees User Involvement Network scheme across Kirklees.
We are interested in further developing the Kirklees User Involvement Network which is Kirklees Wide.
The scheme is to provide an advocacy support service to people with a learning disability which promotes and supports the joint planning of health and social care services and other appropriate community services for people with a learning disability.
It is to improve choice and control people with learning disabilities have about their own lives, and promote independence.
It aims to develop a better community wide understanding of the needs of people with a learning disability as equal members of the community.
It is envisaged that the contract will take place over 3 years (with the provision to extend for a further two (2) twelve month (12) periods) from April 2020 at a maximum of £30,000 per year.
This includes associated staffing costs and TUPE will apply.
There are no premise costs involved.
