Action for Children is a leading children's charity.
In the last year, we worked with over 600,000 children, young people and families across more than 500 services, ranging from children's centres and family support to fostering and adoption.
One aspect of this support has been our pilot into delivering Care Leavers Apprenticeships.
This was initiated following an award from a Charitable Trust in 2019.
This programme has seen eight care experienced young people recruited into Action for Children Apprenticeships.
This funded programme ends in February 2026, and we are looking for an evaluation and research partner to review our impact to help us demonstrate the benefits of Apprenticeships for those who are Care Experienced, and to identify the challenges that coincide with this.

Matched against the notice text, so this is a floor — the tender pack will demand things the notice never mentions. “Says must” means the quoted sentence itself used obligation language; anything ambiguous is left as a mention.
