The brief

National Highways is dedicated to achieving the lowest possible carbon solution to deliver the comprising works of the Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP), Lower Thames Crossing (LTC).

We are seeking to engage with the market to ascertain the solutions available to achieve this ambitious engineering accomplishment that integrates the projects carbon reduction agenda.

NH wish to invite interested parties to partake in a second phase of market engagement exercise in relation to "Green Hydrogen Supply & Associated Services" pertaining to the LTC NSIP.

The aim of this exercise is for us to better understand what is possible in regards of the Green Hydrogen value chain.

The aim of the market engagement event will be to understand the capability and the capacity of the market in potentially delivering the following services: 1.

Full Turnkey managed service - Generation, supply, compression, on-site, storage & refuelling of Green Hydrogen 2.

Supply of Green Hydrogen 3.

Compression & Liquification of Green Hydrogen 4.

Transport/ logistics of Green Hydrogen 5.

Distribution & refueling of Green Hydrogen on site The format of the market engagement will be a series of online 1-2-1 sessions led by NH from 6th February 2023 - 28th February 2023,.To register your interest in attending this session, which will be held via MS Teams, please complete this form https://forms.office.com/e/DQcWqw7LNR Following the market engagement exercise and ratification of the procurement strategy, a PCR2015 compliant procedure will be undertaken to appoint suitably qualified supplier(s) for the provision of the identified requirements.
