The brief

South East London CCG is looking to re-procure its Post Diagnosis Dementia Advisory Support Service ahead of the upcoming expiry of its current contract.

The service will be required to deliver support for people with dementia and their family members/carers to help the person with dementia remain in their home.

Please see the service specification published with this notice for the details of the requirement.

It is expected that following a procurement process in June 2022, the new contract will run for a period of 4 years with a further extension option of up to two years (4+2) (maximum 6 years in total).

The total value of the contract (over six years) will be £475,578, which equates to £79,263 per annum (including irrecoverable VAT).

In line with the Health and Care Bill it is envisaged that CCGs will be abolished and replaced by Integrated Care Boards (ICBs).

Any reference to CCGs as Contracting Authorities in this procurement should be interpreted as referring to the ICBs that will take their place in due course.
