The brief

Comprising approximately 135 direct employees, University of Salford Digital IT (hereafter, 'UoSDIT') continues to expand in its remit-most recently with the emergence of its digital technology evangelism element, and the move towards holistic business change implementation.

In the area of digital infrastructure, the service has adopted a carefully risk-managed approach to the adoption of cloud-based infrastructure and application solutions, with the Microsoft Azure platform-and Microsoft products in general-having a significant and growing presence.

As part of its updated talent management strategy, UoSDIT has increased its focus on internal technical skill capital, resulting in the need for a broadening and strengthening of its in-house skills pool.

Given the requirement for continual review and reinforcement of its in-house skills capital, UoS DIT are looking to secure a relationship, over at least three years, with a technical educator having the capability to support its talent management strategy.

Tenders are invited from providers who are able to bring value in their development and delivery of courses and programmes primarily based around digital technology and business change skills.
