Thamesdown Drive Sign Improvements
Thamesdown Drive Sign Improvements 2017/18 Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of erecting and replacing new posts and signs, removal and disposal of identified existing posts and signs at several locations on Thamesdown Drive.
Project Description Thamesdown Drive Sign Improvements 2017/18 A review has been undertaken along Thamesdown Drive, and found that there are a number of direction signs which are either missing or need replacing.
This scheme aims to address this issue whilst at the same time introducing a new signing strategy for the route.
Swindon Borough Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake a refresh of signage along Thamesdown Drive.
The refresh will involve, in the main, the removal of redundant signs / posts, the consolidation of multiple smaller signs and the replacement of damaged or deteriorated signs / posts.
The appointed contractor will be expected to supply and erect the required signs and posts as part of a complete / integrated package.
During the construction period appropriate control and safety measures (including any vehicular or pedestrian traffic management) will need to be in place by the contractor.
The works must be completed by Friday 24th March 2018.
A suite of location plans, design drawings and bill of quantities (BoQ) has been compiled by Swindon Borough Council to provide detail on the works required, which forms part of this ITT.
Detailed information on utilities/services in the four locations has also be made available to tenderers.
Full details relating to the Works are provided in the tender documents.
