The University has been contracted to deliver air and space power education and training at both Royal Air Force Halton and Royal Air Force College (RAFC) Cranwell with effect from 1 Sep 2020.
These training interventions are currently subject to a wholescale training transformation review by the Royal Air Force (RAF), under Project MERCURY, which seeks to maximise Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) methodologies to deliver a new, scrutinised, content requirement.
This training will deliver air and space power education to learners from a range of backgrounds, principally from two groups, 1) Initial Officer Cadets.
18-25 yrs and 2) Non-commissioned Officers, 28-40 yrs The University requires the services of an experienced education digital developer to work with our subject matter experts to transform our existing materials into appropriate digital formats.
The requirement is for a digital developer to work with the University's Subject Matter Experts to develop nine (9) standalone online educational units principally through a process that: - Scopes and plans the digital approach (including the planned conversion of existing and new materials to a standalone learning format). - Undertakes the development of the digital objects. - Uploads and tests the objects on the Ministry of Defence's (MOD) system (known as LRN). - Provides an approach for annual/cyclical review. - Provides an approach for the development of new and innovative materials after implementation.
