Requirements for James Cook MRU system: • 0.01° roll and pitch accuracy or better. • 5 cm real time heave accuracy or better. • 2 cm delayed heave accuracy or better. • Heading accuracy 0.04 deg or better. • Velocity accuracy 0.03 m/s RMS or better. • Scale factor error in roll pitch and heave 0.05% RMS or better. • Meets IHO special order requirements. • Robust against GNSS dropouts. • Multi channel dual frequency GPS/GLONASS receiver > 80 channels. • GNSS receiver compatible with GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/Beidou. • Includes ionospheric compensation methods to reduceSunspot 24 cycle effects. • Fugro XP/G2 corrections and RTK supported. • RTK corrections format RTCM and CMR supported. • Includes SBAS corrections (WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS, GAGAN). • All data have the same time stamp and to an accuracy of 0.001 s to the actual measurement time. • Logging of raw satellite and IMU data possible. • Certified in accordance with ISO 9001and ISO 14001. • The position reference system used must input to the ships Kongsberg DP system; we require the system to transform to a common reference point on the vessel. • Data output in NMEA 0183 proprietary Kongsberg format to interface with Kongsberg EM120 and EM710 at 100hz data rate.
