Worthing Borough Council seek expressions of interest from companies for the provision of floral hanging baskets, bedding and planter displays and maintenance of the same on a number of sites around Worthing town centre and some outlying sites within the Borough of Worthing, West Sussex.
Contract Duration - 2 years Anticipated award date - November/December 2020 Contract Start Date - 1st April 2021 Contract End Date - 31st March 2023 Contract Extension - Possibility of one year extension Locations Seventeen display sites in all including parks, open spaces, highway and pavement positions and pedestrian precincts.
The required displays are primarily required between May and October, but some winter/spring displays are required at Beach House Park, Field Place and Worthing Crematorium sites.
A full list of the display sites is available from the Council on request.
Planters/floral containers Contractors will be required to provide, install and take down their own planters and floral containers as part of the contract at each planting location.
All Previous planters/floral containers have been removed from sites following the retirement of the previous contractor and are unavailable.
Expressions of Interest Contractors who wish to tender for this work should register their expressions of interest with the Council prior to the tendering process.
