A 12 month contract, with a six month break clause, to a current provider to allow for additional provision of homecare to support an expected increase in the number of people who will need this service this winter.
Working and funded in partnership with the NHS, this provision will ensure people continue to return home from hospital as soon as they are able to do so despite rising demand for services.
To support hospital discharge throughout the County and meet the Councils statutory duty, it is vital that this provision is maintained.
