The brief

Southwark Council is tenders for the provision of the SEEDS2 Business Start Up Project to support young Southwark residents into self employment, through providing support, developing viable business plans, leadership and business management training and expert advice.

This project will help us to ensure Southwark young people have the best support they need upon entering into the world of self employment.

It will directly support our guarantee to ensure education, employment or training for every school leaver and help ensure Southwark is the place to start and grow a business.

Providers invited to tender for the delivery of SEEDS2 Business Start Up, will have: - Proven delivery of supporting young people from a range of backgrounds into self-employment, particularly those from disadvantaged groups. - Demonstrable understanding of support required by young people, specifically how to foster entrepreneurship, and the challenges facing young people who would like to start their own business. - Proven capacity to deliver relevant training and support to help young people start up and sustain their own business. - Capability to support the sourcing of affordable workspace for the SEEDS2 businesses. - Capability to administer business grants to young people participating in the project.
