City of Doncaster Council ("the council") invites detailed proposals to submit bids for adult social care education and training opportunities to provide the local Adult Social Care workforce with the requisite skills, knowledge and competence to deliver high quality care and support.
The tender will be put out in 3 'lots', specifically: • Lot 1 - Safeguarding, Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards / Liberty Protection Safeguards • Lot 2 - Social Care General Skills • Lot 3 - Social Care Practical Skills The contract needs are more fully described in Section One, Part B Specification.
The Council will consider each 'lot' listed above individually.
Therefore it is possible for one provider to win single, multiple or all lots.
It is anticipated that the contract will commence on 1 April 2025 and run for a period of 3 years or until 31 March 2028.
There is also an option to extend the contract by 2 x 12 months at the sole discretion of the council.
