Department for Health and Social Care
Masters in Health and Social Care Policy
This is a large award for Education & Training — above three-quarters of comparable contracts. Based on 23,516 valued Education & Training tenders in our corpus.
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) is looking to appoint a competent provider to deliver a Social Care and Health Policy MSc.
The Social Care and Health Policy MSc provides a MSc-level qualification for policy professionals to build on current skills and improve policy making in DHSC.
This will improve the quality of DHSC policy by embracing new policy changes and linking to public services, thus reducing ineffective policy making, improving quality of policy and meeting operational targets at the same time.
Intended contract term: 5 years (3 cohorts) with the option to extend for up to a further 3 years (up to an additional 3 cohorts) in periods of 12 months.
Estimated contract value ranges from £577,500 (10 students per cohort per location for 3 cohorts) to £1.1m (40 students per cohort across the locations for 3 cohorts) (plus £1.1m as maximum total value of potential variations for cohorts 4-6 of the contract (based on a cohort size of 40)), excluding VAT.
Therefore, the maximum possible total value for the duration of the contract is £2.2m.
For avoidance of doubt this is not a call for competition, the purpose is to advise the market of a potential DHSC procurement.
This market engagement process does not form part of the formal procurement process.
Should the formal procurement process commence, any supplier may join the competition and all supplier bids would be evaluated on the same basis.
A virtual supplier engagement event will be held on Monday 19th June 2023 at 2-3pm via Microsoft Teams.
Please register your interest to attend the event by sending an email to ccsinbox@dhsc.gov.uk by Thursday 15th June 5pm, quoting 'MSc in Health and Social Care' in the email title.
Access to the event will be provided on registration.
