GOTT DPS: MHRA001
This sits in the lower-middle of the Education & Training band — a mid-scale opportunity. Based on 23,516 valued Education & Training tenders in our corpus.
The Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD) is a research service and primary care dataset provider within Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), an Executive Agency of the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC).
With support from GOTT, MHRA-CPRD are evaluating the potential to commercialise methods developed by CPRD for the generation of synthetic data.
Our working assumption is that commercialisation will be directed through the creation of a new spinout vehicle.
GOTT requires an IP Service Provider to complete the intellectual property (IP) work listed below on behalf of CPRD: - Evaluate the existing IP and Knowledge Assets (KAs) created by CPRD in the field of high-fidelity synthetic data generation and adjustment, data bias detection, and sample boosting - Design a forward IP strategy for a spin-out from CPRD (NewCo) that: - identifies relevant KAs, to be transferred to the NewCo, and - provides an assessment for how the NewCo can maintain a defensible IP position.
This work should enable the NewCo to build a strong IP foundation to maximise its social, economic and financial impact within the highly competitive and evolving field of high-fidelity synthetic data.
