Supply of Liquid Fuels for Campus Division
The University of Bristol wishes to gauge interest from suppliers who have a presence in the West of England/South East Wales region, who are able to provide a delivery service of liquid fuels to the University campus at a range of building locations (https://www.bristol.ac.uk/maps/google/) both within the city of Bristol and outlying locations including Langford and Long Ashton and would want to express an interest in tendering.
The supply requirements includes multi drop, non-urgent planned deliveries and also unplanned deliveries at short notice for the critical requirement to top up relatively small generator tanks providing emergency power when there is a power failure to a building.
The generators provide critical power needs to freezers and other sensitive technology that must not suffer any power loss.
Therefore the supply service is needed to cover every day of the year, 24 hours a day (365 days, 24/7 hours).
The nature of this requirement may be of interest to suppliers providing emergency generators who can provide relatively low quantity fuel deliveries.
A spreadsheet of tank locations and other data should be accessible from a link in this notice.
All those interested should email their details to the contact email address shown in this notice quoting this notice title and reference number.
