The brief

AHDB ran a procurement process for Office and window cleaning requirements for their head office at Stoneleigh, Warwickshire.

The scope was to procure a single provider for our office and window cleaning requirements, on a daily basis Monday - Friday, 52 weeks a year excluding public holidays.

Core requirements are daily, with ad-hoc activities on a weekly/monthly basis.

The successful supplier shall be responsible for the efficient performance of the contract and for the good conduct of their employees whenever they carry out cleaning works within the building.

The supplier shall maintain a sufficient number of cleaners' at all specific times to properly fulfil their obligations under this tender.

The tenderer must have processes in place to ensure that the service provided to AHDB is of the highest standard at all times.

All machinery (vacuum cleaners, floor buffers/polishers) and cleaning materials must be provided by the successful tender.

The materials used must be the most cost effective ones available.

The contract is for 2 years with the option to extend for a further 2 periods of 12 months each.
