The brief

Authorised Electrical Engineer\r As directed by Health Technical Memorandum 06-01, Electrical Services Supply and Distribution, KCHFT have decided to introduce an Electrical Safety Group.

The group will be led by a Trust approved person (AP) with the support of an external authorising engineer (AE).

The purpose of this agreement is to appoint an AE who will assist with policy, setup of electrical group and ratify the appointment of the trust's AP\r An initial high level compliance review will need to be undertaken by the awarded supplier, taking an initial snapshot of the Trust systems to ascertain current levels of electrical compliance against the HTMs Electricity at Work Regulations (1989) and other mandatory requirements.

The review will include:\r \r • Current Policy's and procedures\r • PPM Shortfalls\r • Resource\r • Current levels of compliance systems for Electrical Safety\r
