This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits in the upper-middle of the Software & IT Systems band — a substantial contract for the sector. Based on 30,286 valued Software & IT Systems tenders in our corpus.
AutoCAD network licences are due to expire on 4th July.
We have an active licence file until 3rd August.
AutoDesk the software company have decided that network licenses are no longer going to be available and instead single user subscriptions will be needed for each user.
LCC have 31 network licenses that can be exchanged for 62 subscriptions under a transition 2 for 1 offer from Autodesk - additional subscriptions will then need to be purchased to allow staff in E&T and Corporate Property to carry out their jobs.
Surveys and reviews of usage have been carried out to determine the current need for licences and the type of licence; these being AEC, Standard AutoCAD and AutoCAD light to minimise the cost.
It will also be necessary to have the ability to increase the number of licenses of all types as new staff are recruited to vacant posts.
AutoCAD is the only software suitable for the job (it provides the base for many add-ons including the key system software and £D Civils) and Autodesk is the only supplier.
The software can be procured through a small number of agents - we current procure through Graitec.
To cover the needs of E&T and Property we currently need 62 AEC, 46 Standard AutoCAD and 5 AutoCAD light
