Bespoke Multidisciplinary Vocational Rehabilitation Training
The key responsibilities are set out below.
To design and deliver a bespoke Vocational Rehabilitation training programme for SEL Allied Health Professionals ( i.e.
Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Clinical Psychologists and all associated support staff such as rehabilitation assistants, 6 month stroke reviewers etc) To design the training programme based on input from various stakeholder resources including focus groups comprising people with lived experience and local businesses.
To consult with the Vocational Rehabilitation Workstream of the SEL community stroke and rehabilitation core offer with reference to their audits of needs and current skills.
To formally write up, design, and deliver a training programme based on the focus group and stakeholder feedback, as well as service needs, evidence, and guidelines.
To regularly update the Vocational Workstream of progress in the design and delivery of the training programme, keeping to agreed milestones and to alert the chair of the Vocational Rehabilitation workstream of any risks or barriers to achieving deadlines.
To collate, evaluate, and formally write up the outcomes of the training programme once delivered to inform future training and service design.
The Contract will commence on 01/04/2024 for an initial period of 1 year.
The term of the contract might be extended for further 6 months if assigned work has not been completed during the 1-year period.
There will not be any additional payment for the extension period.
