Cefas is a multidisciplinary scientific research and consultancy centre, employing over 500 staff, delivering solutions to meet the diverse needs of public and private sector businesses and organisations active in marine, coastal, estuarine and freshwater environments.
As part of central government Cefas has the requirement to dispose of information technology equipment, such as desktops, laptops, server hardware, failed hard disk drives and media such as CD's, DVD's, USB sticks, USB hard drives, to the government policies and standards as defined in HMG IA Standard No.
