The scope of works will entail the installation over Altro Whiterock hygienic wall coverings to the following areas located in the main kitchen at St Ann’s Hospital, 69 Haven Road, Canford Cliffs, Poole, Dorset BH13 7LN.
The main contractor is to make allowances within his tendered price to remove the following items, please note the list is not exhaustive but will include: •All fixtures and fittings signage, notice boards knife racks etc •Wash hand basins and associated pipe work and brackets for the Whiterock to be installed behind •Sinks and associated stainless steel tabling •Wall cupboards •Racking The contractor is to employ a suitably qualified electrical contractor (NICEIC approved) to remove all light switch plates, socket outlets, control panels, mains isolators and all other wall mounted items to enable the hygienic wall covering to be installed.
Any damaged switches or sockets are to be reported to the Project Manager and an instruction will be given to replace such items with a modern equivalent.
Upon completion of works the main contractor is to employ a specialist contractor to carry out the required sealant works between wall covering and appliances.
Colour to be agreed at the pre contract meeting.
The works will take place over late afternoon and night periods.
