The brief

West Yorkshire Consortium of Colleges (WYCC) is seeking skilled training providers to train and support career progression and transitions for individuals into and within plant occupations.

This tender is part funded by the European Social Fund. (WYCC) values collaborative working and invite applications from organisations that are committed to working in partnership to deliver quality training, which meets the Leeds City Region skills agenda.

The main aims of this training are to: Increasing the skills levels (through training) of employed individuals from the existing level to the next level up, to encourage progression in employment; Train individuals in their pursuit of careers in plant occupations; Develop individuals who, upon completion, are ready to progress in plant occupations; and Support employers to \"grow their own\" skills, ensuring that their staff have the specific technical and other skills that are required to meet business objectives.
