The brief

The Council is seeking to commission an experienced community service provider to engage with the Faith groups, strictly adhering with GDPR requirements throughout consultation.

Engagements will involve piloting the faith settings toolkits across Birmingham and disseminating findings from the Community Health profiles.

The tenderer will need to embed the Community Health Profiles and Faith settings toolkits in the engagements to: • Share the findings from the Community Health profiles, regarding the physical health, mental health and wider determinants of health issues that may be affecting the Sikh, Nigerian, Somalian, Caribbean, Muslim, Pakistani and Indian communities.

The Council will provide the resource pack (main research document in word, infographics slide deck and a PowerPoint presentation). • Collect case studies on how the Community Health profiles are being used to inform practice (e.g. the Sikh CHP- how is being used as evidence base to generate interventions) • Collect case studies on how the faith toolkits are being used • What are the faith settings doing to improve the health outcome of the citizens? • The tenderer will have to gain feedback on the suitability of the toolkit and case studies that are occurring within community faith groups within Birmingham.

This contract will be for an initial period of 10 months commencing 1 June 2022 - 30th April 2023.

There will be an option to extend for a further 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Tenderers are invited provide bids for one, more or all lots: • Lot A - Islamic Faith Toolkit and Muslim CHP • Lot B - Buddhist Faith Toolkit • Lot C - Christian Faith Toolkit • Lot D - Hindu Faith Toolkit and Hindu CHP • Lot E - Sikh Faith Toolkit and Sikh CHP • Lot F - Jewish Faith Settings One tenderer will be awarded for each Lot.

The deadline for the return of a tender submission is Noon on 13th June 2022 via the 'Oracle' system The Council will be using the Oracle Fusion Portal for the administration of this procurement process.
