The brief

The Authority is seeking to award bus services contracts to multiple suppliers for the following requirements:\r • The supply of local bus services (contracts 8A, 9A, 17, 33A, 50, 56, 66A, 101, 110, 112 & 199).\r • Contracts funded with money allocated by the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA) to support local bus services.\r • Until 28th June 2026 + 12 months + 12 months.\r • Cambridge, East Cambridgeshire, Fenland, and South Cambridgeshire.\r The Authority is planning to award eleven (11) separate contracts relating to the provision of Local Bus Services.

The contracts start on Monday 30th of June 2025.

The contractor must be able to provide the full service required from this start date.

The Authority reserves the right not to conclude a contract for the service for which the Tender is invited. \r The Route Schedule details the requirements for these contracts, such as the route, timetable, type of vehicle, and type of ticketing equipment to be used. \r Any extra requirements relating to the contracts that are not covered in the ITT document or in the Conditions of Contract will be displayed in the Route Schedule under 'Special Conditions'. \r Potential providers are encouraged to consider how the contracts they are tendering for can be integrated with the commercial bus network, where applicable.
