CEFAS22-36 RFQ for Environmental Services
Cefas has a requirement for specialist environmental services.
The successful organisation must be able to provide evidence of strong spoken and written Arabic and English skills as well as a background in environmental sustainability and/or climate change policy and practices.
The successful organisation will be required to work with Cefas and British Embassy staff to support a range of climate and sustainability communication and outreach initiatives along with broader engagement with the Middle East region.
This will include but not limited to, stakeholder identification and engagement, supporting design, implementation and content creation for communication and outreach activities.
Outreach activities may include in-person events, creation of social media and virtual content, media engagement on topics such as valuing nature; pathways to net zero; clean energy; green finance; nature-based solutions and adaptation; biodiversity, as well as workshop preparation and delivery.
Stakeholders involved will include Governmental and non-governmental departments and organisations.
Experience in drafting reports, white papers and/or policy briefs as well as creating social media content is essential.
Knowledge of environmental issues and environmental stakeholders in the GCC region is also a requirement.
