The brief

Ten three day courses are run each year at the Armed Forces Chaplaincy Centre (AFCC), Amport House, Hants and up to a possible eight in some of the more distant Garrisons.

Process and procedures are addressed in the morning by Army HQ and the 'soft skills' in the afternoon.

Caring for the Carers Course Support - This is a residential course and the contractor is required for the whole period of three days and two nights.

The contractor is to present, participate and lead discussions on Loss & Bereavement, Compassion Fatigue, Self-Profiling, Emotion and Stress.

Join in the evening activities of quizzes and various therapies acting as an observer and where necessary or appropriate as a Listener.

Casualty Notification Officers/Visiting Officers Decompression and Debrief Workshops - The contractor is required to present lead discussion on Loss & Bereavement, Compassion Fatigue, and Stress in 2 x 45 min central sessions.

Students then break into syndicates to discuss their personal experiences as CNO or VO against their training, supporting the family, coping with stress and supporting themselves.

Requirement is for contractor to act as one of the group leaders.

Stand-by CNO/VO Decompression and Debrief Workshops Support - Ten courses are run annually at the AFCC, Amport House and 2 courses in Germany.
