The brief

Since 2020, the AMRC has been working with Mike Berners-Lee and his team at Small World Consulting to develop: (i) an assessment of AMRC's readiness for the low carbon transition; (ii) a project classification tool so that all of AMRC's project can be assessed to determine the extent to which they are addressing the climate change emergency; (iii) a technology gap analysis to inform our strategic positioning in the drive to net zero; (iv) a clarified carbon target and net zero language review for our communication strategy.

Work stream 2: Reviewing the current gaps in technology report to maintain strategic relevance and ensure that the AMRC can respond to the work needed to achieve a global low carbon transition.

Work stream 3: Defining the decarbonisation targets for the AMRC, ensuring they are meaningful and realistic for our organisation, and supporting the sustainability language and messaging of the organisation to ensure greenwashing is avoided.

We are now in a position to review the technology gap analysis, and define targets and language, to meet future business requirements that are linked to the development of the work provided by Small World Consulting over the last three years.
