Brief description: Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a motivated and skilled SEND and EHC Data Lead to join our dynamic SEND service.

This critical role will be instrumental in developing and managing a comprehensive data management system to support the Education, Health, and Care (EHC) planning process and wider SEND services.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate, timely, and effective data collection, analysis, and reporting to support decision-making and service improvement.

Key Responsibilities: o Develop and maintain a robust EHC case management system. o Create and manage a SEND Data Dashboard and a Director's Dashboard. o Generate accurate and timely reports on SEND performance data. o Use data to identify areas for service improvement and training. o Provide training, advice, and support to the current SEND data officer. o Lead on specific data-related projects within the SEND service.

About You: We are looking for candidates who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of children and young people with SEND.

You should have: o A degree in Data Science, Information Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. o Proven experience in data management and analysis, ideally within an education, health, or care setting. o Advanced skills in data management software, including Power BI. o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. o Excellent communication and presentation skills. o Knowledge of SEND legislation and the EHC planning process is highly desirable.

Stated rates must be inclusive of all known costs.

Invoices must be sent electronically on a weekly basis to templink_1@sandwell.gov.uk along with your workers authorised timesheet supplied by your agency.

Payments are then released 14 days from the date of the invoice.
