20-40 PLUMBING, HEATING AND MECHANICAL SERVICES (DAYWORKS)

The University of Wolverhampton is entering into a framework agreement with Contractors to provide repair, maintenance, modification or replacement of plumbing, heating and mechanical services to the University and its Entities.

As this is a framework the actual value of works is difficult to forecast therefore an indicative value has been used based on the last 4 years spend.

In order to allow this contract to be used for potential European Union funded projects some works might be subject to part funding by the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme for England (2014-2020) or any other European Union Funded Programme.

This requirement was split into three (3) Lots: • Lot 1 covers individual jobs <£25k in value.

The Lot 1 Contract is awarded to a single Contractor. • Lot 2 covers individual jobs £25k-£100k in value.

The Lot 2 is awarded to a single Contractor. • Lot 3 covers individual jobs >£100k in value.

Lot 3 will form a Framework Agreement comprised of three (3) Contractors.

Each call-off for the works required under Lot 3 will be conducted via further-competition.

The term of the Contract(s)/Framework Agreement are for a period of 3 years (with an option to extend for up to a further 12 months subject to satisfactory performance and agreement by both parties).

The Contract commenced on 01st December 2020.
