To better understand the impact of their investments EPSRC wishes to commission an independent study to address a number of questions.

In particular they wish to explore: • the quality of EPSRC-funded research in comparison to other research in the same fields, whether undertaken within the UK or overseas. • collaboration between EPSRC-funded researchers and other researchers, in the UK and overseas • the contribution of EPSRC-funded researchers to identified areas of UK strengths • the relationship between researchers' use of EPSRC-funded research facilities and research publications Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement.
