The brief

Coventry City Council are seeking to appoint a consultant to produce detailed design and investment proposals for heat decarbonisation, as part of the Low Carbon Skills Fund (LCSF).

The scope of works is to undertake the Detailed Designs and Financial Costing for the delivery of heat decarbonisation for the 11 Public Buildings listed in Appendix C, to support the Council in transitioning towards Net Zero.

This will involve the full evaluation of the most appropriate solution to remove the use of fossil fuels in the building including equipment specification, project costing, investment case development, associated planning documentation preparation and delivery funding bid support.

It is expected that these detailed designs will provide information commensurate with RIBA Stage 4 and with sufficient detail to enable the procurement of the proposed scheme.
