Bath and Northeast Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire STP
Private Patients Unit
The Authority has the option to purchase some expansion land, adjacent to the hospital, which will provide the Authority with an opportunity to address demand growth.
At present, the Authority operates an in-house private patients provision, within the main hospital build, but the Authority is looking to reconfigure its front door services and is exploring the opportunity for relocating service provisions to optimise space and clinical pathways.
We are, therefore, looking for interest from potential partners who would undertake the design, build and [full or part] operation of a Private Patient facility for a fixed term contract period.
We are looking for proposals from experienced providers, with proven experience in offering a high quality solution, along with demonstrable experience in contractual relationships that rely upon the design, build and operation of such services.
We would be keen to explore whether providers would be interested in developing a joint private patient offering or understanding what contract arrangements could be possible which would financially benefit the Trust.
We are interested in developing some form of partnership with an interested provider and would be open to discussing options for such an arrangement.
Next steps: Prior to any future procurement process, GWH NHS FT wishes to engage with interested providers who would like to learn more about the requirement and service delivery options.
Interested parties should be keen to establish a forward thinking and innovative relationship with GWH NHS FT.
The Pre-procurement Market Engagement Event will take place on Friday 19.07.2019 from 10:30 to 12:30 in Swindon.
There will be a presentation and questions at this session.
Potential providers interested in attending the Pre-procurement Market Engagement event should register by requesting the Attendee Registration Form from gwh.businessdevelopment@nhs.net and return it by 17.07.2019 to the same email address (gwh.businessdevelopment@nhs.net).
As part of this market engagement piece, feedback will be sought from those who attend, by way of a questionnaire, which will be sent following the event.
The Authority would be grateful for all attending organisations to complete and return this by the requested deadline.
The exact address for the session will be published to those that register their interest to attend.
