The brief

In accordance with best procurement practice, EU and UK Procurement Directives and Regulations and the Authority's service order, the Authority is seeking to choose a Tenderer(s) by competitive tender through the Competitive with Negotiation Procedure for the Provision of Personal Protective Equipment for Fire fighters.

Fire and Rescue Services within the UK intend to collaboratively tender for the Provision of Personal Protective Equipment for Firefighters.

The items to be provided under the framework are: Fire fighters PPE Fire Tunic Fire Trouser Fire Hood Helmet Fire Boot Rubber Boot Fire Glove Rescue Glove Layered Jacket Rescue Jacket Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) Two piece coverall Helmet Boot Chainsaw Boot Glove Wet Weather Clothing This collaborative procurement project is being led by Kent & Medway Towns Fire Authority ("the Authority") on behalf of all Framework participants.

This tender is for a single supplier framework arrangement with the successful Supplier providing all of the above items using a combination of the following options: Fully Managed Service with Personal Issue PPE Fully Managed Service with Non Personal Issue PPE Purchase Only It should be noted by all interested parties that the successful tenderer must be able to provide all of the required items and services.

Tenders for only a selection of items or options will not be considered.
