Kirklees Council ("the Council"), under the Bikeability standard, is seeking to appoint up to 4 suitably qualified and experienced cycle training contractors to provide training in schools across the borough.
Successful contractors shall be required to co-ordinate bookings, provide suitable equipment and safely deliver training to the National Standard for Cycle Training (Level 1&2 combined/Level 2 training, PLUS Balance, Learn to Ride & Level 3 training) in schools across Kirklees.
The majority of this delivery will focus on Level 1&2 combined/Level 2 training.
Bikeability aims to encourage more people to travel sustainably, increase the number of children being active on a daily basis and to reduce pedal cycle casualties.
