The Social Mobility Commission (SMC) monitors progress towards improving social mobility in the UK and promotes social mobility in England.

Due to the seismic events of COVID and Brexit across the whole of the United Kingdom, there have been significant impacts in terms jobs, health, incomes, education and thus of social mobility.
