Utility Infrastructure for the St Thomas' Power Upgrade
This sits in the upper-middle of the Engineering & Architecture band — a substantial contract for the sector. Based on 33,646 valued Engineering & Architecture tenders in our corpus.
The St Thomas' campus at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is going through a significant upgrade programme of its clinical services which will cumulate in a new Evelia London Children's Hospital (ELCH).
This programme of works cannot be supported electrically by the existing power infrastructure and currently, the prediction, based on the known projects, is for the site to run out of spare available power in 2026, just after the new ELCH comes on line.
The intention of this project is to provide an improvement to the sites current power supply position.
This requirement was tendered through the NHS Shared Business Services framework, Healthcare Planning , Construction Consultancy and Ancillary Services (HPCCAS), Lot 5, Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP).
